This a comprehensive review of the AR6 for my students at the University of Florida. It may be viewed but not downloaded or copied. One error in the narrative is the statement that hurricanes are becoming more frequent. The overall global frequency of cyclones has decreased since the 1800s. Atlantic hurricanes has decreased in the first half of the 20th century but since about 1960 show and increase in frequency. Models from Emanuel 2021 suggest that the frequency will continue to increase, but there is ongoing debate about this. The power of cyclones in most part of the world, including the Atlantic Basin, has increased and this trend will likely continue. (Chand et al. 2022. https://doi.org/10.1038/s41558-022-01388-4)
